X-Port

X-Port is an application written by Dan Rowley, it was distributed by ICS http://www.newts.com/newton. It is now available on Kagi from Dan https://order.kagi.com/cgi-bin/store.cgi?storeID=IC&&. It works with Windows and Macintosh computers.

From the package, the features are:

• Transfer Multiple Notes, Outlines, Lists, and Packages to and from your PC
• Import all contacts from any desktop PIM with ASCII text exporting
• Upload Newton screen shots as PICT or BMP files
• Download black-and-white PICT and BMP files for viewing/editing with Newtpaint

Requirements:

• Messagepad with Newton OS 2.0 or later
• 48k storage on the Newton
• Macintosh System 7.01 or later, uses Localtalk or serial connection
• PC with Windows 3.1 or later, compatible with Windows 95
