Paperback is a easy way to make Newton Books from plain text files (.txt)

You don't need to format the text. Pages don't exists in Paperback. Actually it is one long roll of text. To help you find your way, you can make markers for a Table of Contents (TOC). You can decide what marker to use: you can use the word Chapter for example. Entries in a TOC cannot be nested so be carefull with their amount. Concider making multiple paperbacks for a large document. Images are not supported. In your Paperback book on the newton, you can select what type to use, and what size, and screen rotation is also supported. Your text will simply fill the screen.

If you plan to make a PaperBack book, keep in mind the folowing things:

Consider the next text:

Chapter one.

bla bla bla.
there was a little...

Chapter two.

Anothe very inportant question remains.
That of the meaning of life, the universe and everything..

If you would choose Chapter as the marker for the TOC, the TOC will show only

one.
two.

I allways markup my text as follows:

xxxChapter 1.
Chapter One.

bla bla bla.
there was a little...

xxxChapter 2.
Chapter Two.

Anothe very inportant question remains.
That of the meaning of life, the universe and everything..

and choose NOT to include the line with the markers in the final text. Keep in mind that the whole line will be removed, and not replaced by a emty line.

My TOC then looks like

Chapter 1.
Chapter 2.

Of course you can use anything for xxx as long as it not used in the text as a regular word at the beginning of a line...
